2017 PERSONNEL ASSEMBLY IN REVIEW

As is practiced annually before the start of a school year, JCA holds the Personnel Assembly, a much anticipated event.  On July 27, 2017, all Personnel gathered at the JE Chapel, E. Rodriguez Campus for the special occasion wherein all the personnel from different work and department.

Ms. Mary Jane T. Akmad, Christian Formation Director, began the day with a devotion, thanking God for a fruitful and successful school year in 2016-2017.  For SY 2017-2018, to be strong and courageous in every situation for God is with us.

The introduction of new Personnel took a creative twist and turn with new Personnel introducing themselves to the assembly through an object that best reflects a part of them.  This was appreciated by the assembly.

New appointments, marriages and births were announced and congratulations extended to colleagues who earned a graduate degree and those who passed government licensure examinations.

The segment, “Meet the Future”, was hosted by the Executive Directress, Dr. Sally L. Coyukiat, and assistant, Mr. Darryl Myr Florano.  It showcased Ms. Rizza Colobong, (Administrator), Mrs. Nancy Ramos (Senior High School Assistant Principal), and Ms. Frances Rea Gaza (Junior High School Assistant Principal).  The ladies shared different experiences in JCA.  All Personnel were also given a  stationery that states “I am the Future of  Jubilee”.

In preparation for the “Big One”, the expected strong earthquake, the Disaster Management program was presented.  Hosted by Mr. Edmond Inocencio and Ms.Geraldine Olivar, after presentation of the safety measures, the approach was for participants to act out what to do in the different emergency situations.  Mrs. Roselle Clemena, Property Manager, summarized and expanded on what to do during drills and evacuation.

Lunch, termed “Boodle Fight”, was at the Open Court.  The Personnel were color-coded for the cheering and the games.  They were grouped in tables.  Lunch rule was the cleanest table earned points for the upcoming competition.  Everyone enjoyed the food as well as each other’s company.

After the meal, Makabayan Faculty lead the Zumba to hype up everyone.  All groups were glad and proud to present their cheering presentations.  They were highly competitive to win the games. The white team garnered the most number of points and carried away the prizes.

The day-long activities gave joy, encouragement, and exemplified teamwork for the Personnel to not only have a good start in SY 2017-2018, but to sustain them through all the challenges.
