QUEZON CITY– (October 13, 2017) The Junior High School, headed by the Christian Formation Department (CFD), held a Dedication Service as a time to commit to the Lord the ongoing building construction at 4th Street, Doña Hemady. The dedication service was filled with prayer and songs of reverence to God as an offering to Him for granting Jubilee the new building project.
The Executive Directress, Sally Coyukiat,Ed.D, shared a brief history of the building which she recounted to be a personal journey of her own faith. Dr. Coyukiat’s testimony gave an account of how the property was bought as well as the challenges that came with the acquisition of it. She emphasized to all that even in the midst of challenges faced by the building project, she rests confidently in God’s promise found in Philippians 2:13 which says: “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”
Afterwards, Dr. Erlinda Tan, Chair of the 4th Street Building Project, gave a glimpse of the design and floor plan of the project. CFD Director, Ms. Mary Jane Akmad, gave a call to all the attendees: to pray for the construction of the new building, to share the news to others, and to give their resources, talents, and gifts to help the development of the building.
#100for1M, JHS’ building fund campaign project was also launched. Paul P. Calamiong, Ph.D., Principal of Junior and Senior High School, challenged students to help build God’s work in and through Jubilee by giving once the fund campaign commences. Rev. Joel Pan led everyone in a dedication prayer sealing the whole building project to God’s care. May God’s hand continue to bless and keep the whole building project. To God be all the glory, honor, and praise!
