JCA and JEC: Partners for the Great Commission

September 17, 2017 Jubilee Christian Academy (JCA) joined Jubilee Evangelical Church (JEC) in celebrating the Lord’s day.

JCA students and personnel graced the service. Ms. Mary Jane Akmad, Christian Formation Department Director, Mrs. Sherrilyn Labaton, Elementary Christian Education Coordinator, and Ms. Rester Joy Evangelista, Community Care Coordinator, together with the JEC Praise and Worship team, lead the congregational singing. Mrs. Edna Yao, JCA Community Partners Director and a proud alumna, shared the humble beginnings of JCA and its partnership with JEC.

Selected JHS and SHS coordinators and teachers, rendered a song number about sharing God’s love and kindness. Mr. Marlon Bugayong, JHS and SHS Student Activities Coordinator, quipped about being part of the presentation “… it was very fulfilling, because it was an offering of praise for the Lord.”

Dr. Paul P. Calamiong, JHS and SHS Principal, also JEC pulpit minister shared the Lord’s message,  Experience Power by Loosening Your Grip” anchored on Ephesians 4:29-32. He stressed that to experience the Holy Spirit and God’s power in our lives we should open our hands to  kindness, compassion, and forgiveness just as Christ did for us.

Truly, this annual JCA Sunday @ JEC  reminded everyone how the two institutions have been working hand in hand in the service of God.
