Jubilee Rejoices After Historic Sipnayan Win

The longest active Sipnayan title drought of Jubilee is finally broken.

After going through the grueling elimination, semifinal, and final rounds, the JCA Elementary Team won this year’s Sipnayan 2018 Grade School Division.

In its 20 years of existence, Sipnayan has been one of the most coveted Mathematics contests in the Philippines. Jubilee has joined this prestigious Mathematics event as an official contest in School Year 2016-2017 but the participation of the school dates back to earlier years as an endorsed contest.

The Jubilee Team which is composed of Jerome Austin Te (G5 Euclid), Gregory Daniel Dy (G5 Kepler), and Joshua Clifford Ang (G6 Hemingway) emerged amongst the 57 participating teams which composed of more than 200 students.

In the final round, the JCA team competed against St. Jude Catholic School A and B, Southville International School and Colleges, PACE Academy, and Ateneo De Manila University.

The Elementary department and the Math Area also rejoice for the winning of Jerome Austin N. Te as the Top Sipnayan Scorer this 2018. He also won the prestigious award in 2017.

This contest is considered as the hardest local competition for Elementary students since the scope consists of Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Combinatorics.

Congratulations! To God be all the glory!
