Best Works JHS Students Made in SY 2020-2021

The move to online learning  may have changed the manner in which the teaching and learning process was delivered, but it did not hinder the teachers to make the students feel loved, secured, and develop their skills and talents to achieve their full potential. Here are the wonderful outputs created by the Junior High School students in their different classes.

In Araling Panlipunan, students created a three- to five-minute Animated Video Project that discusses the impacts of Cold War to the geo-political status of Asian nations in the present-day society (Korea, Vietnam, China, Cambodia), a Podcast Interview with an expert or an individual who answered questions regarding the status of the urban poor / unprivileged Filipino citizens in the present-day society, a Brochure that presents the advantages and disadvantages of each market structure in dealing with the global health pandemic, and an Interactive Padlet based on “medical chart” containing macroeconomic indicators representing the economic impact of Covid-19 from 2019-2020.

In English, students collaborated and created a News Report that showcases the students’ command of the language and media editing skills, wrote Haiku and Sijo that show their creative writing skills, presented a Readers Theater in a Duet with Me Format that shows students’ voice projection and acting skills, and wrote a Book Thief Virtual Diary and Scrapbook that reflects their close reading, analysis skills, and creativity in designing presentations.

In Filipino, students created an Owl Friends Video that shows their fluency in the use of the Filipino language and in depth analysis of the home reading, produced Florante at Laura Interview Video that shows their understanding of the characters and their relevance in the society, and a Virtual na Pagsasadula that showcases the students acting skills and creativity in adapting Noli Mi Tangere in the modern context.

Truly, God has sustained the Jubileans to thrive and succeed this school year 2020-2021. To God be the glory!
