Kyoto University Visits JCA

August 27, 2019- Kyoto University, Japan (KU), ranked 33rd in the world 2019 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) rankings for universities and 65th in the World University Rankings of Times Higher Education (THE) list of 2019 visited JCA to discuss application and scholarship opportunities in KU for JCA Senior High School students.

KU representatives, Dr. Takeno Yoshizaki, the Vice Director of the Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences along with Junko Hamada and Mr. Kazuya Wakatsuki of  Kyoto iUP Admissions Office and Mr. Taro Naritomi from Japan Foundation Manila met with Mrs. Nancy R. Ramos, SHS Principal and Ms. Frances Rea R. Gaza, Junior High School Principal.

Since 2017, Kyoto University has a new bachelor’s degree program for foreign students dubbed as iUP. The university aims to encourage more foreign students, with hopes that they will find success not only in their academic pursuits but also in their future professional careers in Japan.
