小四举行讲故事比赛 (Grade 4 Chinese Story-telling Contest)

Last October 13, 2014, the Grade 4 Chinese Area held a Mandarin Story-telling Contest with the theme, “When I Grow Up.” Three contestants represented each section and they came in costumes and props of different professions. Each contestant told a story about his / her choice of profession in the future. The aim of this contest was to develop students’ interest and ability in speaking Mandarin. The judges of the contest were Grade 4 Chinese teacher Mrs. Jocelyn Co, Gr.5 Chinese teacher Mrs. Maria Lea Yanga, and Chinese Coordinator Mrs. Wan Yu Ouyang. Three contestants were declared winners: 1st place, Jaymee Claire T. Yeo? Kabayanihan; 2nd place, Eunice Phoebe L. Tan (Kabayanihan) and Francine Mae E. Ang (Kaunlaran); 3rd place, Shereena Cadence C. Sy (Kalayaan).

Second place: Eunice Phoebe L. Tan, Gr. 4-Kabayanihan

Francine Mae E. Ang, Gr.4-Kaunlaran

Third place: Shereena Cadence C. Sy, Gr. 4-Kalayaan
