Without a doubt, COVID-19 caused people to rethink their lifestyle as well as their way of doing business. Social distancing, monitoring, testing, quarantine, new normal, and Zoom meetings are among the frequently heard terms these days.

Teachnology and Blended Learning are terms that usually pop up alongside school and education.

In the field of education, all stakeholders are working double time. Their primary goal is to figure out how to allow students to continue learning while remaining safe.

On May 18, 2020, Jubilee Christian Academy shared its elementary academic plans for School Year 2020-2021 to parents. This was further discussed with them through an online meeting last May 26, 2020.

Among the things discussed were the three modes for delivering instruction now considered by JCA.

Parents’ also shared their thoughts on the presented plans. Their feedback and the reality of our current situation will shape how things will be in the upcoming school year.

At this point, as members of the JCA community, let us continue praying for the Lord’s protection. Let us also remember the wisdom of Proverbs 19:21 that says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
