JCA Holds Its First-Ever Virtual Parents Conference

Jubilee Christian Academy Elementary Department held its first-ever Parents Conference for School Year 2020-2021 through Google Meet on August 12, 2020. 

The program started with a presentation of the School Year’s Theme. It was Triumph Over the Challenges of the New Normal anchored on Isaiah 43:13. 

Mrs. Lorna B. Yan, Elementary Department Principal, recalled with the parents the challenges and successes experienced by the department in School Year 2019-2020. Among the things mentioned are The BuriBook Competition Championship award and the cooperation shown by members of the JCA community to successfully finish the 4th grading quarter.

She also introduced the New Programs that will bring JCA Students Academic and Co-curricular prowess despite the challenges brought by the pandemic:

• • New Intensive Program for Grade 4 Mathematics
  • Google Classroom and Google Meet for the delivery of Instruction
  • Curriculum Design- Synchronous and Self Directed Activities

She emphasized the importance of a good Home Partnership. She encouraged parents to support instilling students with discipline and academic concerns. 

The whole JCA community looks forward to the opening of S.Y. 2020-2021 on September 1, 2020.
