The iPad Goes to Jubilee

We all know what happens when Mary brings a little lamb to school, but what happens when students bring an iPad?

Starting school year 2015-2016, Grade 4 students of the Elementary Department will use iPads for textbooks, note-taking, classroom activities, and homework. This move is a fulfilment of the School’s desire not only to be at par with the best in the education world but also to enhance the teaching-learning process in school through one-to-one use of iPads as learning tools. This means that our students will experience a dramatic decrease of the weight of their school bags while taking advantage of the educational resources the digital world offers.

To prepare our students on how to use iPads properly, the “Fun with iPad Day” was conducted to the incoming Grade 4 students on January 21 to 26, 2015. To understand fully how these students will use the device and benefit from it, parents were also invited to an orientation on January 28, 2015.
