Andrew So Receives Award during the 27th Philippine Chinese Outstanding Student Presentation Ceremony

Last February 8, 2020, Andrew Brian So of 9-Sun Yat Sen was awarded one of the twelve outstanding Chinese Filipino students of the Philippines by the Ah Shin Educational Foundation during the 27th Philippine Chinese Outstanding Student Award Presentation Ceremony held at Best Fortune Hotel in Binondo, Manila. The awarding ceremony, attended by Philippine Chinese Education Research Center (PCERC) officers, school administrators, and various association officers, was a well-attended occasion to recognise this year’s set of exemplary students.

Andrew was joined by his family, Mrs. Michellee Te, Junior High School (JHS) Chinese Coordinator, and Ms. Frances Gaza, JHS Principal. He, along with other high school students from all over the Philippines, underwent a rigorous selection process. During the event, Andrew received a trophy, plaques of recognition, and cash prize from PCERC and his family association.
