Happy and Healthy Eating the Chinese Way

On November 19 and 20, 2019, the JHS Chinese Area held an activity that taught the Grade 10 students to eat healthily and deepen their appreciation of the Chinese culture even more.

The student together with Ms. Na Li, Ms. Jingrui Dong, Chinese Teachers, and Mrs. Michelee Te, Chinese Coordinator, prepared fried and steamed chicken, pork, and beef dumplings. Both students and teachers had a wonderful time working and eating together. JHS teachers and personnel got to taste the yummy and healthy dumpling recipes. They certainly gave the different dumplings served with two thumbs up!

This activity has introduced to the students the Chinese culture of preparing and eating dumplings and has helped establish and maintain stronger relationships among students and teachers. It certainly encouraged everyone to eat healthy and be happy!
