It’s an Open House!

On Monday, September 16, 2019, the Junior High School (JHS) Department opened its doors for Parent Observation Day. It was an opportunity to welcome parents in the different JHS classes to give them a firsthand experience of the teaching and learning process.

 

 

 

 

The ever ready JHS servant leaders gamely welcomed and ushered the parents as they arrived at the Conference Room where they were given a brief orientation, as well. Parents were eager to visit the different classes after students gave them a glimpse of what to expect during the open house.

For this year, each grade level featured specific subject f    ocus: Grade 7 on Teachnology; Grade 8 on Christian Education, Physical Education, and Social Studies; Grade 9 on Math and Science; and Grade 10 on the Language subjects.

After each parent observation session, the different subject coordinators had a brief time to meet with the parents to share insights and have a brief question-and-answer time to better understand the different JHS learning programs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Indeed, it was a fruitful and worthwhile time to welcome parents in the JHS classes and spend a day of learning together!
