JUBILEANS PLACE IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONTEST

第十四届华人少年作文比赛

由中国国侨办文化司等单位联合主办的“第十四届华人少年作文比赛”共有二十六个国家二百三十所华校参赛，作文稿件共计十二万两千余份。获奖少年近万名。全菲华校获奖学生共有一百零七人。本校选送十二篇作文参赛，其中获奖作品五份。获奖名单如下：中学组二等奖，陈婕妤（中四）。中学组三等奖，蔡慧思（中四）、吴思明（中四）、陈美佳（中二）。将一切荣耀归于上帝。

14th World Chinese Youth Essay Writing Contest

The 14th World Chinese Essay Writing Contest was held last academic year, November 30, 2013. Two hundred thirty Chinese schools worldwide participated in this event organized by OVERSEAS CHINESE AFFAIRS OFFICE OF THE STATE COUNCIL. Over twelve thousand and two hundred essays were submitted, but only 107 were selected in the Philippines. Five JCA students were among the winners. They are as follows:

The students were mentored by Mr. Fang Xin and Ms. Lan Lijun. The World Chinese Essay Writing Contest is an annual international competition which began in 2000 where over 700 million Chinese students participate.
