What a Eureka Moment!

The Music, Arts, PE (MAPE) Area hosted this year’s Arts and Music Exhibit entitled ‘Eureka!” inaugurated las Wednesday, February 21, 2020.

It was a spectacular exhibit featuring the best works and the giftedness of Junior High School students in the humanities. The interactive exhibit showcased different art works created via different mediums and produced by students in their different Art classes throughout the school year.

Eureka 1

Moreover, it was made more exciting through the musical performances of students where they displayed their expertise in instrument playing and their musicality in singing. Students performed both classic and modern songs using instruments such as the kalimba, guitar, melodica, ukulele, and beatbox.

Eureka 2

The jamming sessions at the Waiting Area and the Canteen engaged students and teachers who sang along to songs such Can’t Help Falling in Love, Count on Me, Bathing Isip, Mundo, Moon River, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Maybe the Night, and Oceans to name a few. Aside from that, some students also performed original compositions much to the delight of the audience.

Eureka 3

It is the hope of the MAPE Area to further the growth and passion of both JHS students and personnel in the visual and performing arts. Congratulations to all the students and the MAPE Area!
