GRADE ONE HEALTH CONCERN

On November 25 and 26, 2014, a total of 34 Grade 1 students and two Grade 4 students suffered fever and vomiting.  As preventive measure against more cases of fever and vomiting, Grade 1 classes were dismissed at 11:30 AM on November 26, 2014.  All areas used by Grade 1 (e.g.,  classrooms, function rooms, comfort rooms) are being disinfected.

We thank God that, as of the afternoon of November 26, no student was reported to have fever and vomiting.  As extra precaution, Grades 1 to 6 will have no classes on November 27 and 28, 2014 for the School to disinfect the campus thoroughly.  Classes will resume on Monday, December 01, 2014.

The School is looking into all possible causes for the sickness and will appreciate any information related to this endeavor.

The School assures the JCA Community that it will take all measures to prevent further problem of this nature.  Parents / Guardians are advised to bring the children to the doctor if fever and vomiting is observed.

The School appreciates the kind understanding of parents, students and personnel.  It asks for the prayer of all for God’s healing on the affected students and the speediest resolution of the concern.
