UPDATE GRADE ONE HEALTH CONCERN

As of November 28, 2014, the School has verified that 28 students, not 34, as was reported initially, suffered from fever and vomiting since November 25, 2014, with 21 students from Grade 1 – Jasmine.

We pray that the students who have suffered the ailment have recovered fully.  They are to bring a Medical Certificate and visit the Clinic before entering the classroom when they are well enough to return to School.

If the student still suffers symptoms or feels weak, he or she is to rest at home as he or she will be sent home should the medical staff assess that he or she has not recovered completely.

Unit tests will resume on Monday, December 01, 2014.  Students who are still recovering will be given make up tests.

Since the afternoon of November 26, 2014, the School has been cleaning thoroughly the entire campus with disinfectant, with additional attention to the classroom of Grade 1 – Jasmine.

The School drinking water was found acceptable by Department of Health (DOH) accredited agency in October 2014.  The School will have its drinking water re-assessed by two different DOH accredited agencies.  Results take seven days.  In the meantime, water dispenser with purified water is replacing water fountains.

The School has been following up Barangay Mariana to work with the assigned engineers to hasten the completion of the road improvement program of Manila Water.  The latest update is that it would be cemented next week.

Thank you for your prayers.  We are one with you in solving the health problem.
