September 10, 2019– The Preschool Department welcomed parents in school to see how Lightbulbs are being implemented inside the classroom.

Lightbulb activities aim to encourage students to be more creative, active, and collaborative. These activities are in line with the lessons and objectives of each grade level to deepen their understanding of the lesson.

An orientation was conducted at the start of the program, where the department introduced the different strands of the Lightbulb.

iDiscover activities allow students to perform science-based experiments to explore the world around them.

Through iCreate, students are freely able to express themselves as well as exercise their creativity. The Expression boards in the classroom allow students to post their artworks.

iTouch activities allow students to use technology for learning.

iPlay encourages students to learn through play. Activities also develop cooperation and collaboration skills.

Finally, iPerform allows students to demonstrate their learning by showcasing it to their peers and family through the performances in the waiting area, dramatic plays and the culminating program.
