Hooray for Chinese New Year

Last January 24, the preschool students welcomed the Chinese New Year with fun games, joyous music, and scrumptious food.

They performed the song “新年好” for the family. Ms. Bonda led the warm-up dance for everyone. 

Students enjoyed playing a relay race using chopsticks. They also played a Chinese “Simon Says”.

Everyone got to experience making dumplings as part of a Chinese New Year tradition. Parent volunteers demonstrated the process of making dumplings. 

They got to taste Chinese delicacies like Cha Misua and dumplings as well. 

The activity would not have been successful without the dedicated parent volunteers. 

Praise God for another year!
