I Design, I Create, I Build

“When I grow up, I will challenge you to a drone battle!”, a Nursery student told Engr. Marc Francis Say after he spoke about his profession to the class of Nursery-Love.  Engr. Say, an electronics engineer and also an alumnus of JCA was one of the speakers in the Community Helpers Month activity.

Engr. Say develops modules to teach how to use drones. As part of his talk, he presented different kinds of drones and showed video of test flights. The students were amazed and were excited to try out some

In the class of Nursery-John, Engr. Veronique Angeles, a civil engineer, spoke about her work in the field.  She said that women can be engineers, too.  She talked about how engineers oversee different projects such as buildings, roads, and bridges.  She also mentioned about the different colors of hard hats and who uses them.  A student asked how many buildings she has built, to which she answered “Many”.

The students had a great time meeting the two engineers who inspired them to study so that they can be like them.
