JCA-PS Holds Virtual Appreciation Day

Recognizing how much School personnel matter is important. This year is especially significant. Many teachers have worked long hours to move their teaching online and to support their students while schools are closed.  The non-teaching personnel on the other hand extend their services online, too.

With the School closed for face to face learning, showing appreciation to the school personnel can make it tough. However, the School found a way to celebrate it at a distance.

On October 14, 2020, the High School Student Council hosted Appreciation Day program in Nursery and Kinder classes. The personnel and students had fun with the games Guess the Animal and Bring Me the Color.  The personnel were game in answering trivia questions such as their favorite color and how long they have worked in Jubilee.  With these questions, the students got to know them better.

The Student Council officers prepared three different Appreciation Day postcards that the preschool students colored and designed earlier.   In the Thank You portion of the program, the students showed their colored post cards and some of them gave short heartwarming messages.

This short and simple celebration tells us that no matter the distance, we can still show appreciation to the School personnel.
