Brother’s Keepers 2020

The first-ever online Brother’s Keepers Event entitled,  “Stay Connected” was held on November 23-24, 2020 via Google Meet.

 

Ms. Mergie Bañes Guidance Coordinator, got the ball rolling with an energizer and encouraged each  batch to participate orally or via the chatbox.

A video song presentation edited by Timothy Duyongco and performed by Janna Koa, Caitlin See, Phoebe Uy, and Veronica Young of 12-Martin Luther filled the hearts of the students with praise for the Lord.

The students then broke out to different groups where they were able to get to know each other on a personal level, share their own set of challenges and give each other advice. Through this activity, students were able to bond and reminisce over past school experiences as well as discuss new experiences in online learning. 

Overall, the event was a success despite the challenges of an online setup. Each student was left with a new support system and new knowledge needed to equip them to face with greater confidence the rest of the academic year.
