DLSU Business Statistics and Econometrics Seminar-Workshop

Last March 6, 2020, the Financial Management Department (FMD) of De La Salle University (DLSU) hosted a seminar-workshop entitled, “Statistical Tools for Business and Economic Research Workshop”.
 Mr. Enrique Sabacan, Math Area Coordinator, Ms. Kristine Joy Torela, JHS and SHS Math teacher, Mr. Jonathan T. Habana, Social Science Coordinator and Mr. Jason Lloyd Ng, JHS Social Science teacher, participated in the event.
The one-day seminar-workshop’s discussion highlights included;
 Role of Statistical and Econometric Tools to Answer Business and Economic Research Questions, Introduction to Statistical and Econometric Tools: Descriptive Statistics and Regression Analysis Using Excel.
The sessions provided participants with relevant and valuable industry and educational insights on statistics as a research tool. The hands-on applications shared also enriched the their data generation, organization and analytic skills.
 Mr. Habana shared on his learning experience in the seminar-workshop, ” It provided me better and seamless methods, strategies and applications in teaching econometric analysis”.
